Refund and Replacement Policy

    This policy applies to JayKisaanu Agritech Private Limited and all its operating brands and subsidiaries, including Kisaanu and TreeOwn (treeown.com) and Rent Mango Tree (rentmangotree.com).

    0. ₹500 pre-booking refund before confirmation

    The ₹500 pre-booking is refundable until you confirm a tree in your selection window. If you proceed, the ₹500 is adjusted in your total package. If you choose not to continue with a tree package, you may instead ask us to convert it into a fruit box package.

    Refund eligibility includes situations where we cannot find you a tree, the variety you wanted is unavailable, or you decide not to continue before confirmation. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7 working days of the request.

    1. Tree replacement support

    If your assigned tree dies, fails to fruit, or is otherwise unable to deliver a harvest, we will offer an equivalent live tree or a replant option at no extra cost, subject to the active plan terms and practical availability.

    For 5-year and 10-year plans, we aim to replant a fresh sapling within the same term where feasible.

    2. Rent Mango Tree refund windows

    • Pre-booking hold: The ₹500 hold is refundable before final tree confirmation.
    • Confirmed rental package: Refund requests may be reviewed before major farm-side work begins on the assigned tree and before the season has materially advanced.
    • Harvest timing: Fruit timelines depend on maturity and season. Delay caused by tree age or orchard cycle does not automatically create a cash refund event.
    • Alternative output path: Before confirmation, the pre-booking amount may also be shifted to another approved Kisaanu output path where applicable.

    3. TreeOwn refund and plan windows

    • TreeOwn is presented with a no-questions-asked refund path, subject to settlement of any already delivered produce, closed-season benefits, and account identity verification.
    • Most TreeOwn tenures are structured in 5-year multiples up to 30 years, while papaya plans are available only up to 2 years.
    • Banana is currently not offered under TreeOwn plans.
    • TreeOwn refunds are settled under JayKisaanu Agritech Private Limited after adjusting already consumed seasonal benefits, executed logistics, and any completed produce fulfilment.

    4. Harvest shortfall and fair-share produce

    Rent Mango Tree and TreeOwn both depend on real orchard output. TreeOwn owner allocation is a fair-share model and not a fixed kilogram guarantee in every season.

    Where an assigned tree materially underperforms, we may offer alternate tree assignment, replacement support, or seasonal adjustment depending on the active programme structure and availability.

    5. Shipping damage

    If a mango box arrives damaged, photograph the box at the time of delivery and emailinfo@kisaanu.comwithin 48 hours. We will review the case and either reship or refund the box price, as appropriate.

    6. Micropayment refunds

    Add-on micropayments (extra Jeevamruta, compost, mulch, consultations, and similar services) are refundable only if the input has not yet been applied to your tree.

    Once the field team has carried out the work, the add-on becomes non-refundable.

    7. How to request a refund

    Emailinfo@kisaanu.comfrom the address you used at checkout.

    Include your order ID, tree ID (if any), and a one-line reason.

    Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7 working days after approval.

    8. Raw produce, farm inputs, and product orders

    • Fresh produce and raw agricultural goods are perishable by nature. Returns are accepted only for quality defects, spoilage at delivery, or wrong-item delivery reported within 24 hours of receipt.
    • For fertilizers and other farm inputs, direct refund is not allowed in standard cases.
    • In exceptional cases where a specific batch is not performing properly, we may provide a refund after inspection or replace the item with free shipping.
    • Non-perishable products (tools, packaged goods, accessories, and similar store products) may be eligible for replacement within 7 days if delivered damaged, defective, or incorrect.
    • Used, tampered, or partially consumed products are not eligible for refund unless there is a verified quality issue.
    • Shipping and convenience charges are non-refundable unless the error is caused by us, or where free-shipping replacement is explicitly approved by us.

    9. Payment entity, TreeOwn, Rent Mango Tree, and subscription coverage

    All customer payments, refunds, and settlements are processed under JayKisaanu Agritech Private Limited, including payments collected via its brands, sub-domains, and subsidiaries.

    This includes transactions made on Kisaanu platforms and TreeOwn (treeown.com) for Own A Tree long-term fruit tree ownership and Rent Mango Tree (rentmangotree.com) for mango rentals, including fruit boxes, produce deliveries, related fulfilment, and subscriptions/plans. The same policy principles apply across these entities unless explicitly stated otherwise in a plan-specific contract.

    10. Marketplace orders note

    If any product is sold through third-party marketplaces such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, Meesho, or similar platforms, their marketplace policies, terms, return windows, and dispute rules will additionally apply to that order.
