Jay Kisaanu’s 5-Year Transformation Plan

Year 1: Land & Water

Intensive soil enrichment, smart drip irrigation setups, orchard plantation, pond creation and rainwater harvesting to restore water tables.

Kisaanu Careers – Common Questions & Clarifications

Kisaanu is a regenerative agriculture initiative focused on orchard development, smart farming, and community-based farm models. We use modern tech like drones, IoT sensors, apps, and sustainable practices to empower farmers and build scalable, eco-friendly agri-businesses.

Our primary on-field operations are based in Amethi, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, and Sitapur districts of Uttar Pradesh. We also manage outreach, tech integration, and R&D from Lucknow. Field travel may be required depending on your role.

We hire for both on-field and backend roles including Agrinomists, field officers, farm managers, training coordinators, IoT technicians, video creators, customer support, and app/website operations. All roles are project-based but may lead to long-term positions.

We follow a 5-step hiring process: (1) Resume Screening, (2) Email Response or Telephonic Pre-screening, (3) Online Interview, (4) In-person or video-based final meeting, (5) Offer Letter and formal joining. Each stage is documented and transparent.

Never. Kisaanu does not charge any money for job applications, interviews, training kits, or appointments. If anyone asks for payment in our name, report immediately to info@kisaanu.com.

Most roles require travel to farms, orchards, polyhouses, weather stations, or training units. Our field projects are based in rural parts of Uttar Pradesh. We provide structured travel schedules, safety guidelines, and support.

Salary details are only discussed after interviews. Final compensation, travel allowances, work hours, and benefits are shared in the official offer letter, not before. Be cautious of any fake salary promises from third parties.

It depends on the role. For technical, agronomy, or admin roles, a graduate degree or diploma is required. For field execution, communication, or support roles, 10+2 or experience in farming/business is accepted. We value honesty and learning ability.

All roles begin with a 1–3 month probation period where we assess your field participation, learning, teamwork, and honesty. After successful completion, a permanent contract or project extension may be offered.

Most roles are on-site and full-time due to the nature of our work — farm management, training, and community coordination. However, for roles in design, content, analytics, or tech — remote working is possible on a case-by-case basis.
